Police swoop on COP26 protestors blocking busy Glasgow road in 'blood-soaked' rubber dingy

dailyrecord.co.ukProtestors in a rubber dingy have blocked a busy Glasgow road as they stage a demonstration outside a Santander bank branch.
Extinction Rebellion are joined by AmazonRebellion on St Vincent Street and have been staging the rally since around 4pm. A ring of police officers could be seen surrounding the climate change activists who are holding a banner reading: “Defund deforestation”.
The words “protect Amazon” and “blood money” have also been spray-painted onto the bank.A heavy police presence remains at the scene with officers beginning to remove activists from the roadway.In a video posted online from the scene, officers can be seen attempting to cut through chains linking the activists.A statement from Police Scotland said: "Our Protest
