A police officer was struck by a bottle outside a packed tube station before a vicious brawl broke out just minutes away. The incidents took place on a chaotic evening in Shoreditch, east London, on Friday night.
A man was arrested in relation to the attack with witnesses saying around ten police cars turned up at the scene. The unnamed officer was treated by paramedics, who then decided he should be taken to hospital as a precaution.
