Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Simon Cowell is ‘doing really well’, after undergoing surgery on his back following a bike accident. The X Factor boss, 60, had been riding his bike at his home in Malibu, California on Saturday when he fell off and injured his back.

Following reports Simon had ‘broken his back’, the star underwent emergency surgery where a ‘metal rod was put into his back’ and is said to be ‘doing ok’.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday night, Amanda wished Simon a ‘speedy recovery’ while sharing an update on his condition with fans.
