Police made three arrests after a late night chase ended in a crash. Officers were called to reports that a vehicle had been stolen in Rochdale on Friday night.
The car did not stop and police gave chase, at around 11pm. Following the pursuit the car crashed into a gate leading to a canal, near Three Countries Road in Mossley, Tameside.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and robbery. They were being questioned by police last night. "The car made off and later collided with a gate which leads to the canal near Three Countries Road in Mossley - while it was being pursued by TVIU. "Three men from Tameside have been arrested for theft from a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and robbery offences they remain in custody for questioning." READ NEXT :
