direct to your inbox A 48 hour dispersal order has been issued in Didsbury after police received 'numerous reports' of teenagers causing trouble.
On Saturday night GMP attended incidents of anti-social behaviour involving a group of up to 20 youthsPolice say the teens, who are thought to have been drinking, ran off when challenged by officers and also stole fire extinguishers from the Shell garage.The order, which runs until 11.19pm on Monday, gives officers and PSCSOs the power to disperse crowds and prevent nuisance.Officers can ask troublemakers to leave and not return to the area covered by the order.Anyone doing so would be liable for arrest.A post on the GMP Chorlton and Didsbury Facebook page said: "Yesterday evening police received.
