A police investigation is underway after a woman's body was discovered in woods in North London on Thursday morning. Officers were called to a wooded area in Burnt Farm Ride, Enfield, at 7am where they found a person unresponsive.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are currently treating the death as suspicious.
Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command are investigating with colleagues from the North Area Command Unit. A crime scene is in place and enquiries continue.
