Officers were scrambled to a house on Longton Road, in Blackley, at 5.20pm on Sunday (November 29). Emergency workers were responding to a report of 'a firework aimed at an address', but they later discovered evidence of 'a firearms discharge'.
An investigation was launched and police have now confirmed that they have recovered a bullet.Work is ongoing to identify the weapon used, the GMP spokesperson also confirmed.Nobody was injured during the incident and nobody has been arrested at this stage.Longton Road was cordoned off on Tuesday afternoon (December 2) - two days after the incident.Tactical Aid Unit.
