Police investigating crash arrest man who has been wanted for 17 months

According to officers, the driver of one of the vehicles ran away towards Breightmet, leaving it at the scene. After visiting the registered keeper's home, police found his 'friend', who had been wanted for a robbery in Breightmet, back in October 2019.A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery.Police continued to search the area for the registered keeper of the vehicle and eventually found him in Winchester Way.A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs, and failing to stop after an accident.
