Police are investigating after a woman appeared to be filmed telling a fellow passenger on a Manchester-bound train to 'go back to Morocco or Tunisia'.

The row, which reportedly broke out on an Avanti West Coast train from Euston to Manchester on Monday 3 February, was captured on video and shared on TikTok, The Mirror reports.

A video, shared on social media, starts showing an argument in which a woman tells a fellow passenger to 'go back to Morocco or Tunisia' A man, who filmed the video, tries to explain to the vile woman that he was born in the UK, but the woman hits back saying 'It doesn't look like it'.

During the argument, other passengers got involved after hearing the abuse, saying: "We heard her, it's disgusting". Later in the video, the pair appear to be arguing about how close their feet are, as the woman accuses the man of kicking her - which he denies.
