Four district special constables have been patrolling Failsworth and Limeside to try and tackle burglaries, robberies and violent crimes in the area.
Since January, the specials have made six arrests for drug offences, vehicle offences, and a failure to appear in court. Nine vehicles have been seized and recovered, with three other vehicles searched by officers.
