Police responding to reports of what appeared to be a dead body wrapped in a blanket at about 7am established a perimeter and temporarily closed Bruce Highway, just under four miles south of Bowen.
But after a few hours examination by forensics experts, the “body” was revealed to be a highly realistic sex doll named, according to her instruction manual, Naomi.
