As the Jubilee weekend gets under way it's looking like outdoor plans could be scuppered on the final day of celebrations. Reports say that thunderstorms could be expected on Sunday 5 June, with the potential of power cuts triggered by the weather.The showers will be sometimes heavy in the south and will spread north across England and Wales.There is the chance of a complete washout for Sunday's jubilee pageant, with a mix of light and heavy rain from 3am right through to 6pm.

However at 8pm until 4am on Monday it will pour down again.The rainy weather comes as around 60,000 people are expected to host Big Jubilee Lunches during the day.There will also be street parties galore as the big Bank Holiday weekend draws to a close.
For the Platinum celebrations, Sunday 5 June will see a special pageant take place.The pageant will take place on Sunday, 5 June 2022, at 14:30 – 17:00 with a preshow at 14:00 - 14:30.The plan is to explore and celebrate how the nation has made a global impact with various design trends and epic bands, and will be headed by Hemingway Design.The pageant's segment is called The Time of Our Lives.
