Piers Morgan rips into ‘disingenuous’ Boris Johnson speech amid confusion over new lockdown rules

Piers Morgan was unimpressed with Boris Johnson’s latest speech announcing new lockdown rules, branding the prime minister ‘disingenuous’.  For the first time since recovering from coronavirus, Boris delivered an address on Sunday evening (10 May) announcing he was slightly easing the lockdown measures in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

In the speech, Boris told the country that those who cannot work from home are ‘actively encouraged’ to go back to work.
