Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan, 55, has addressed the “devastating” moment Britt Ekland, 77, appeared less than impressed when he suggested he could become the next James Bond.The television personality got onto the subject while interviewing the former Bond girl on the ITV show earlier this year.
Piers asked the actress for her opinion on rumours the spy discovers he has a son in the forthcoming movie, No Time To Die.Sharing her views on the speculation, Britt said on the programme: “I think Bond should remain untouchable.“He’s a fantasy and I think after everything we’ve been through this year it would be wonderful if they turned back time and made him more the traditional, old-fashioned, bachelor, pipe-smoking Bond.
