PIERS Morgan has continued lashing out at the National Television Awards, this time saying the crowd was indeed cheering for him.
Thursday's NTAs was his final opportunity to win an award for his work on Good Morning Britain. When his name was read out as a nominee for best presenter during the live broadcast, many in the audience booed him.
But Piers today played back the moment which included a clip of him grilling Health Secretary Matt Hancock on Good Morning Britain at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
Videoing the clip from his phone, Piers played in his own defence claiming more people were cheering from him than the boos he received.
