Philippe Coutinho told he has to apologise to Liverpool before they'll take him back

Liverpool have been told to re-sign Philippe Coutinho - but should first expect an apology from the Brazilian for the way he left.

That's according to former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor, who reckons the Barcelona star is exactly what the Reds are missing.

Coutinho left Liverpool in 2018 to complete a "dream" move to Barcelona. His dream quickly turned to a nightmare as he was thrown on the scrapheap in Spain and sent out on loan to Bayern Munich.

Barcelona were hoping the German giants would trigger a clause to make the transfer permanent, but Bayern have no plans to sign Coutinho.
