Phil Taylor to star as World Championship darts returns to BBC TV

darts returns to the BBC next year.After retiring from the sport at the start of 2018, Taylor made his comeback earlier this year by joining the new World Seniors Tour, taking part in the World Championship, World Masters and World Matchplay.

The Tour, open to players over the age of 50, is going from strength to strength, with a fourth major tournament set to be added to the 2023 schedule.Last year’s tournaments were broadcast on BT Sport, but the TV rights for the next World Seniors Championship, at the Circus Tavern in February, have been picked up by the BBC.
