A pharmacist has been arrested by the National Crime Agency (NCA) on suspicion of illegally selling coronavirus testing kits.
A website the agency said was suspected of attempting to fool victims into buying non-existent personal protective equipment through 'phishing' e-mails has also been taken down.
The NCA repeated a public warning over criminals exploiting the Covid-19 pandemic as they released details of two arrests over the weekend.
The 46-year-old pharmacist from south London was arrested on Saturday (April 11). The NCA said £20,000 was also seized. The man was arrested under the Fraud Act 2006 after making 'false and misleading claims about the tests' capability'.
