‘Heartstopper’ stars appear at Pride march in London

Gogglebox viewers were left baffled tonight as they failed to recognise some of the stars featuring on the show's Pride special.The hit Channel 4 reality series welcomed a host of new famous faces on Friday evening (July 1), including the cast of Netflix's LGBTQ+ show Heartstopper.Actors Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Yasmin Finney and William Gao joined the show to mark Pride month - a month dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities.READ MORE: How much do celebs get paid for Gogglebox? Staggering earnings for each episode Other new faces included Strictly Come Dancing's first male same-sex couple Johannes Radebe and John Whaite, as well as RuPaul's Drag Race UK stars Tia Kofi and Lawrence Chaney.In addition, Ian 'H' Watkins, Claire Richards and Faye Tozer from Steps also appeared on tonight's show.Joining them were Gogglebox favourites Rylan Clark and his mum Linda, Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv, Clare Balding and her wife Alice Arnold, and Denise Van Outen with Blue star Duncan James.But as the special episode kicked off this evening, a number of viewers failed to recognise some of the new faces.Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "I’m not sure if I’m more confused that this is called Celebrity Googlebox or more confused in the fact I hardly recognise anyone on it."
