Grammy-winning rapper Roddy Ricch was one of three men arrested Saturday night before his scheduled performance at the Governor’s Ball concert at Citi Field in New York City.

Rapper Roddy Ricch was not able to perform for Governors Ball in NYC on Saturday after being arrested for criminal firearm possession.

Thania Garcia Rodrick Wayne Moore Jr., better known by his stage name Roddy Ricch, was arrested Saturday before his scheduled Governors Ball performance for attempting to enter the festival with a loaded weapon.On his way into Citi Field, where the fest was being held, Moore’s vehicle was stopped at a security checkpoint where law enforcement officials found a loaded firearm inside his vehicle.As of early Sunday morning, Moore Jr. was still in custody but a source close to the rapper has confirmed to Variety that he has now been released.The New York police department told Variety that they responded to a call at approximately 6:20 p.m.

Roddy Ricch was arrested for trying to enter Governors Ball festival with a loaded weapon yesterday (June 11), it has been reported.The rapper was due to perform at the New York festival but his set was confirmed by the organisers to have been cancelled.According to TMZ, Ricch was stopped at a security checkpoint upon arrival at the festival site at Queens’ Citi Field. Authorities are thought to have found a loaded firearm and nine rounds of ammunition inside his vehicle and the rapper and two other people were arrested.Ricch has reportedly been charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, and unlawful possession of an ammunition feeding device.

Migos have pulled out of their scheduled performance at the 2022 Governors Ball festival, further fuelling rumours that the trio may be disbanding.Organisers for the New York City festival – which is being held this weekend (June 10-12) at Queens’ Citi Field stadium – announced the line-up shuffle this morning (June 8), tweeting that Migos would no longer appear “due to circumstances out of [their] control”. The group themselves are yet to make a statement on their exit from the bill.Lil Wayne was later announced to replace Migos’ set on Friday evening (June 10).
