Bill Nye the "Science Guy" is officially a married man. People magazine shared that Nye, 66, wed journalist and author Liza Mundy, 61, in late May at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. The couple’s initial introduction stemmed from Mundy’s book, "Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers of World War II," where she mentioned Nye’s mother, Jacqueline Jenkins-Nye.  Bill Nye is officially a married man! The announcement was made as part of the “Star Trek” Universe panel at New York Comic-Con on Saturday. It was also announced at the panel that “Orphan Black” alum Tatiana Maslany is set to appear in Season 1 of the Paramount+ series in a guest star role.

Sandro Rosta will be joining the new class of Starfleet cadets in Paramount+‘s upcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, the latest chapter in the Star Trek universe, the streamer announced today. Production is set to begin later this month.

Gravitas Ventures, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, has picked up North American rights to the post-apocalyptic thriller Stronghold, directed by Julia Camara. In addition to US & Canada; Gravitas wants to add Latin American territories in addition to Mexico including the Caribbean and sub territories.”

Bill Nye the Science Guy quietly wed journalist and author Liza Mundy in May.The 66-year-old engineer said 'I do' to the 61-year-old beauty during a private ceremony in Washington DC, according to a Wednesday report from People.This is a second marriage for Nye who wed musician and motivational speaker Blair Tindall in 2006, but filed to have the marriage annulled after only seven weeks.The Cornell University educated Nye is best known for his TV shows Billy Nye The Science Guy and Bill Nye Saves The World. He has also appeared onDancing With The Stars and The Big Bang Theory.
