‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ Paramount+ Series Casts Sandro Rosta

variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter The “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” series at Paramount+ has added Sandro Rosta to its cast. Production on the series will begin later this month.
Rosta will appear as a cadet in the series alongside previously announced cast members Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Karim Diané, and Zoë Steiner.
It was also previously announced that Holly Hunter will star as the captain and chancellor of the academy, with Paul Giamatti set to play the season’s villain.
In addition, Tig Notaro, Robert Picardo, Oded Fehr, and Mary Wiseman will reprise their roles from previous “Star Trek” shows in the series.
