Denise Welch’s reason for taking a break from Loose Women has been revealed, as she joins forces with Strictly Come Dancing stars. The Coronation Street actress, 65, will be joining the line-up for Celebrity Hunted, after announcing that she’s stepping back from Loose Women temporarily. Denise shared on Instagram: ‘Well on this day, on my 65th birthday, I want to thank you in advance for all the lovely messages and comments that I’ve received.

Denise Welch has candidly spoken about gaining two stone after she gave up alcohol.

Denise Welch revealed on Monday that she is taking a break from her Loose Women presenting duties and going on a phone detox.   The presenter, 65, explained her 'temporary' absence in a post to her Instagram feed.  It comes as rumours of a romance between her son 1975 frontman Matty Healy, 34, and Taylor Swift, 33, heat up after first coming to light earlier this month.
