The fourth installment in Keanu Reeves’ runaway hit franchise has the honor of being this year’s “secret screening” at the SXSW Film Festival, multiple sources told Variety. The film will show next week on the ground in Texas at a major venue, the sources added. Distributor Lionsgate and SXSW Film Festival organizers would not comment on this story, most likely trying to preserve the fan experience. One source added that digital marketing will come into play with how and when lucky guests nab tickets to the screening.

The latest preview for the anticipated sequel in the ongoing revenge film franchise sees the star getting back into action as he faces off with new foes in hopes of defeating The High Table. «And so it begins,» Winston Scott (Ian McShane) says before Wick is seen getting into gunfight after gunfight with various new and unexpected enemies, including Shamier Anderson as The Tracker, Hiroyuki Sanada as Shimazu, Donnie Yen as Caine, Bill Skarsgård as The Marquis de Gramont and many others. Rounding out the cast is Laurence Fishburne as The Bowery King, Lance Reddick as Charon, Rina Sawayama as Akira, Scott Adkins as Killa as well as McShane, who is also appearing in his fourth film. Directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, Reeves told ET that «there's new characters, more world-building» in the newest installment in the series.

Based on the comic book of the same name, the series follows Lunella, a Black 13-year-old Manhattanite who uses her genius to accidentally conjure up a giant red Devil Dinosaur (Fred Tatasciore) through a time portal she’s created. Luckily for Lunella, and the entire Lower East Side neighborhood, she befriends the prehistoric creature and uses their unique partnership to fight crime in the area under the moniker of Moon Girl.
