King Charles accepting applications for shepherd to look after 2,000 royal sheep
King Charles III is looking for a shepherd to help look after his 2,000 royal sheep -but they must have their own dog.The Sandringham Estate is advertising for a skilled shepherd with at least two years’ experience to tend the monarch’s 2,000-strong flock of Aberfields. The farm on Sandringham Estate has 200 hectares of permanent grass for breeding the ewes and beef shorthorn-based cattle.Criteria for becoming the King’s newest shepherd includes having your own working dog, a full clean UK driving licence and a right to live and work in the UK.A job advert on its website says: “Day to day shepherding will form the majority of this role with some assistance in winter housing and spring calving of the beef herd.“A passion for livestock, an open mind, and a willingness to learn and develop alongside an innovative system will be critical to succeeding in this role.”It says the successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player “able to uphold the highest standards of animal welfare”.And it adds they must have their own working dog or dogs and a full driving licence.Sheep on the estate, which is organically-farmed, are used to produce “finished lamb for a premium supermarket retailer”.Their numbers were increased by the then Prince Charles in 2019 as their droppings would help fertilise the sandy soil. The King has revolutionised farming on the 21,000-acre estate, which he inherited after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II in September, 2022.As well as turning it over the organic farming methods, he has also re-introduced rare breed cattle, planted hedgerows and helped rear rare birds.

Prince Harry to accept $8.5 million inheritance as it’s ‘money that’s owed to him’: ex-palace staffer
a massive $8.5 million cash bonus thanks to arrangements made by his late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. After much speculation over whether Harry will accept the money given that he’s no longer a working member of the royal family, it appears as though the duke will not be saying “no.”“I’ve no doubt that Harry will accept it, it’s money that’s owed to him, money that’s coming to him,” King Charles’ former royal butler Grant Harrold exclusively told The Post.“I don’t think he will decline the money, it’s inheritance so it’s his right,” he said, adding that “it’s already something that has been set in place for years now.”The late Queen Elizabeth II’s mother put $90 million into a trust fund for her family, and listed that Harry was to access his share of the trust when he turned 40 as one of the fund’s stipulations.Unlike his estranged brother, who received a ceremonial bell concert at Westminster Abbey on the milestone birthday, Harry is reportedly set to receive a larger share than what William received on his 40th birthday.“[The money] will be part of Harry’s birthday celebrations which will hopefully see him receive well wishes from his family and celebrate with his wife and family, doing something very nice but probably in private — as what I’ve experienced with the royals before, is that they like to celebrate these things privately behind closed doors,” Harrold said.It was reported that William and his wife, Princess Catherine, were left “disgusted” at Harry’s share of the inheritance.Sources close to the Prince and Princess of Wales told Closer last month that the pair feel the duke is not deserving of the income. The hefty sum of money will be a welcome addition to the Duke and Duchess of

King Charles ‘losing patience’ over Prince Andrew’s living arrangements: ‘He wants the matter settled’
The Times of London reports.Charles has reportedly been at wits’ end over his brother’s comfortable set up at the $38 million Royal Lodge, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle.Andrew has lived there since 2004 after he signed a 75-year lease agreement the year before. After his friendship with the late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein came to light in 2019, Andrew has found himself on the brink of eviction from the lavish royal digs. However, it seems as though he’s not looking to move out anytime soon, despite his brother’s best efforts. After Andrew’s publicly-funded police protection was removed in 2022 following a review by the UK’s Home Office, Charles has been footing the bill on a private security team for his brother. The king forks out an estimated $4 million each year on his disgraced brother’s protection, the outlet adds.According to insiders, the sovereign has now made it clear to his brother that there are “only two possible options” left. The first would involve Andrew remaining at the property, but he would have to fund his $4 million-per-year security alone.Should Andrew opt in, Charles would also scrap the financial help he offers to his brother for all of his living expenses. The other option, one that the king has been actively exploring, is having Andrew downsize to “more suitable accommodation” — something he has reportedly been adamantly against. It’s understood that the king is happy to continue to cover his brother’s living expenses if he moves into Frogmore Cottage.Charles has also said he will continue to provide for Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.“It is now two years into the King’s reign and he wants the matter settled,” a source told the outlet. In a further blow amid
