Nigel Farage 'in talks to join I’m A Celebrity' – after turning down show ‘several times’
Nigel Farage is reportedly negotiating a huge deal to participate in I'm A Celebrity, according to TV sources. The 59-year-old former leader of the Brexit Party, who has mentioned previous invitations to the show in the past, is reportedly holding advanced discussions with ITV's show producers. The Sun reports how the potential deal, understood to be valued at up to £1 million, is being arranged through the same talent agency, The Visionary Talent Agency, that represented Georgia Toffolo, the show's winner in 2017. Boy George's appearance on the show last year allegedly earned him £900,000, and it is speculated that Nigel could demand a similar sum.TV producers are confident that signing Nigel will guarantee another successful series, especially following last year's hit season, which featured disgraced former Health Secretary Matt Hancock. In addition to the politician, the show's line-up is so include jockey Frankie Dettori and This Morning's Josie Gibson.
