After 37 years on our screens, Neighbours has closed out its final moments with emotional reunions, a joyful wedding and a nostalgic tribute to past and present stars. The much loved Australian soap ended with a double-episode special on Friday (July 29) which featured star-studded cameos from Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Margot Robbie and singer Natalie Imbruglia.

Neighbours has been missing from our screens for 14 months after its shock axe from Channel 5, but following its return to Amazon - fans have been left confused by the two year jump ahead.The show's return episode was aired on Monday 18 September, and jumped ahead in time from the "final ever" episode of the soap, which aired in July 2022. In one of the early scenes in the new episode, Susan Kennedy references the changes during a conversation with Harold Bishop, who has returned to Ramsay Street.The last time Harold was in town was for the wedding of Toadie Rebecchi and Melanie Pearson, which happened in the final episode.

During his time on Australian soap, Neighbours, Mark Little played the iconic Joe Mangal, who had a relatively clean-cut appearance.  In contrast to his character, who had short dark hair and no facial hair, the 63 year old appeared unrecognisable in a recent TV appearance. Speaking on the BBC's cricket talk show, View from the Boundary in the UK, Mark had a considerably more rugged appearance with wavy long grey hair and a new bushy beard. After resurfacing on TV over the weekend, the Brisbane-born soap star, who now lives in Wales, was compared to the likes of Top Gear's James May, and even former UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
