I personally always carry out the ‘hair tie test’ while having a trim to make sure I have no surprises when I get home. Secondly, just like having a fringe, a shorter cut can mean frequent visits to the salon to maintain it, so this is something to consider if your schedule is often booked up. Most of the time, applying less heat to our hair can benefit its long-term health and may even pro-long time between appointments.
