I was working at night, training all day, but I was only able to work two nights a week.Who is currently the most promising fighter in the UFC? Let us know in the comments section below."I was like, 'F**k! Do I want to make a few dollars? Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou says "I can't take it" and could quit UFC
Prior to the clash, Gane had never been put on his back en route to a perfect 10-0 MMA record, only for the Cameroonian to execute three take-downs - including a brutal body slam - to retain the title he won by beating Stipe Miocic back in March. However, no sooner had Ngannou, 35, taken his career record to 17-3, that fresh doubts were being cast over his future after UFC supremo Dana White opted against the customary act of entering the cage to place the belt around the champion's waist.White, 52, was also notably absent from the post-fight press conference.Tensions between the President and Ngannou have been simmering for months, with the latter having been scathing over his current contract terms, whilst also publicly touting himself to switch combat sports and face Tyson Fury in a heavyweight boxing bout.Indeed, his latest win earned him $600,000 (£445,335), prompting Fury, who made $6 million (£4.45 million) just for winning his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder in October, to tweet Ngannou telling him to come and see him if he wants "to make some real money."Ngannou however, told MMA Hour his grievances weren't just financial.“The money was tempting, it was good, but this is not just about money,” he said.Should Ngannou walk away from the UFC? Let us know in the comments section.“Just money cannot fix this situation. I don’t believe that.“The term of the contract, everything that they put into, they hold you in captivity.“You can’t do anything.

Ring girl who posed for Playboy has net worth four times bigger than UFC star Cyril Gane
UFC ring girl and Playboy model Arianny Celeste has a net worth four times bigger than that of heavyweight contender Ciryl Gane.Celeste, 36, has been with Dana White's promotion since 2006 and has won Ringcard Girl of the Year at the World MMA awards six times. She is also one of many who have jumped into bed with Hugh Hefner's iconic magazine over the years.Gane, meanwhile, has only been with the UFC since 2019, though in that time has taken his professional record to 10-0 and become their Interim Heavyweight Champion. But the difference in their bank balances remains considerable.According to First Sportz, the Frenchman has accumulated a net worth of $1million from his fight career. In comparison, Celeste has racked up $4million in wealth with several broadcast roles and sponsorship deals helping to boost her modelling income, as per Wealthy Persons. She posed nude for the November 2010 edition of Playboy, which was one of the top-selling of that year. Should UFC fighters be paid more? Let us know in the comments section. And in 2015 she famously got into a row with UFC star Ronda Rousey, calling her a "bully" after she argued ring girls "are either being paid too much or the fighters aren't paid enough".After giving birth to her son Raiden Beckham King in 2020, she returned to action as a ring girl just three months later.Celeste was also on duty at the most recent pay-per-view card last month. She therefore looks likely to be ringside for Gane's UFC 270 showdown with the reigning champion Francis Ngannou.'Bon Gamin' beat Derrick Lewis in dominant fashion last August to take the interim crown in Ngannou's absence. Now the pair of heavyweights are set to meet in the Octagon to determine the undisputed champion on Saturday

Tyson Fury warned Francis Ngannou hits harder than Deontay Wilder as bout considered
Tyson Fury withstood the punches of the most powerful heavyweight boxer in the world during his trilogy series with Deontay Wilder - but has been warned UFC champion Francis Ngannou would hit him harder. After stopping Wilder in the 11th round of their classic bout in Las Vegas last October, Fury is currently negotiating a WBC title defence with British rival Dillian Whyte.Ngannou meanwhile has also had his mind occupied by preparing for his heavyweight title defence with Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 270 in California on Saturday night. However, should both icons come through their respective clashes, then a historic meeting could be on the cards with the Cameroonian having declared his intent to switch codes and take on 'The Gypsy King'.Some pundits have questioned the boxing credentials of Ngannou, 35, but his manager Marquel Martin believes his man could adapt, and also subject Fury to bombs beyond what Wilder was capable of."Francis is dangerous for Fury because the best fighter to fight Fury to date is Deontay Wilder. Deontay isn't known for 'sweet science' - he's known for his devastating power," he told Sky Sports."With that power, he was able to successfully land some power shots that put Tyson on the canvas a few times."I acknowledge it's very difficult to hit Tyson.

Francis Ngannou is ice cool outside the octagon - but UFC 270 has him more than fired up
UFC 270.Having said that, there is one name that ignites visible fury behind his eyes - and it isn't that of upcoming opponent, and interim heavyweight champion, Ciryl Gane.Born in Batie, Cameroon back in September of 1985, Ngannou grew up with his aunt after the divorce of his parents and began working in a sand quarry at the tender age of 10.Refusing the advances of gangs and choosing wisely to pursue boxing, it wasn't until after his 26th birthday that he travelled to France in a bid to make his passion a career.Having been jailed in Spain for illegally crossing the border, Ngannou was later introduced to Fernand Lopez by a mutual friend after living homeless on the streets of the French capital. With Mike Tyson as he idol, Ngannou wanted to train as a boxer, but the influence of Lopez saw him take a path in mixed martial arts that would see him become the most feared heavyweight on the planet.Beginning his career in November of 2013, Ngannou won five of his first six bouts to catch the eye of UFC chiefs, winning by second round knockout against fellow newcomer Luis Henrique in a taster of things to come.Curtis Blaydes, Bojan Mihajlovic, Anthony Hamilton, Andrei Arlovski and Alistair Overeem all subsequently fell at his hand before they could make the distance, with his first attempt at the belt following in 2018.Who will wear the belt after UFC 270? Give us your thoughts in the comments sectionFor only the second time in his career the fight would go the distance - with the same outcome as the first.Stipe Miocic's unanimous victory was followed by a damaging loss against Derrick Lewis which would spell the end of the once fruitful partnership between the heavyweight and his long-term coach Lopez.Having left MMA
