Following Francis Ngannou's win over Cyril Gane at last night's UFC 270, their respective pay for the fight has been revealed by the California State Atheltic Comission.
Ngannou took $600,000 home for beating Gane, with his opponent pocketing $500,000 in what was a fight to determine the undisputed heavyweight champion in UFC.
It is hardly surprising that Ngannou is pushing for a fight against Tyson Fury, who was paid $30million for his last fight in the trilogy against Deontay Wilder.
A fight with Fury is a massive money spinner for any fighter, as exemplified by the purse bids row with Dillian Whyte ahead of their proposed bout in March.
