Oscars coverage in the UK was free-to-air last night for the first time in two decades but ITV‘s coverage was slammed on social media for insensitivity and a lack of critical expertise.

Fay Ripley has come a long way from her early days selling men's clothes door-to-door and is now one of the UK's most loved actresses. After graduating from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1990, Fay landed a role in a pantomime version of Around the World in 80 Days. From there, her career took off.

Channel 5 thriller Finders Keepers promises to delve into the world of metal detecting - and an ordinary family caught up in a murky situation they aren't equipped to handle. The star-studded cast includes Neil Morrissey, James Buckley and Fay Ripley.

Actor Neil Morrissey best known for his roles in Men Behaving Badly, Waterloo Road, Line of Duty and The Good Karma Hospital is joining a brand-new drama. He’ll be playing detectorist Martin Stone alongside Cold Feet actress Fay Ripley (who plays Martin's wife Anne Stone) and Inbetweeners star, James Buckley (who will play Ashley Taylor) in Channel 5’s Finders Keepers. Neil is thrilled to be playing Fay’s on-screen husband as the pair have never worked together before despite them appearing in so many iconic British shows.

Neil Morrissey and Fay Ripley are two of the national treasures of British television. From Line Of Duty to Cold Feet, Waterloo Road and Midsomer Murders, it is hard to find a drama that the pair have not appeared in. Surprisingly, though, they’ve never starred in a series together – until now, as they team up to play a husband and wife in Channel 5’s new treasure-hunting drama, Finders Keepers.

Jonathan Ross has relived his fever dream experience of having Jedward turn up uninvited to his house.  The Irish twins, who rose to fame in 2009 on The X Factor, are known for their chaotic ways, and it seems they didn’t disappoint when they paid Jonathan a visit.  He recalled the wild experience on Paul Sinha’s TV Showdown, where is joined by Georgia Toffolo, Sindhu Vee, Chris McCausland, as well team captains Fay Ripley and Rob Beckett on the comedy quiz show, saying: ‘They visited my house uninvited one day.

'Paul Sinha's TV Showdown' has landed a second series. The 50-year-old star - who is best known for being a quizzer on 'The Chase' - will return for more episodes of the hit ITV game show with team captains Fay Ripley and Rob Beckett.
