‘It’s like kid’s TV!’ Viewers react to Alison and Dermot’s This Morning debut

evoke.ieThere was a mixed response to the new Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary era on This Morning. The pair have been drafted in to replace Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford as Friday hosts of the show.
Some less than impressed viewers decried the show as being ‘like a kids’ programme,’. The new pairing did have to endure more than their fair share of blunders such as grilling Graham Norton about his deceased dog, and mistakenly asking Fay Ripley about her two sons, only for the actress to clarify she has a son and daughter.
The view from the sofa seemed to be split with some loving the ‘chaotic’ hosting style, while others really missed Eamonn and Ruth.
