This Morning’s Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary debut was watched by a whopping 1.41million viewers, more than their predecessors Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
The new ITV duo have already proved to be an enormous hit on the show and have garnered rave reviews when they made their grand entry last Friday.
According to The Sun, Alison and Dermot had over 200,000 more viewers for their first episode - in comparison to Eamonn and Ruth's final show.
It comes after the veteran presenters held back tears as they hosted their final slot after being savagely axed from their typical Friday slot at the end of last year.
