Kate Middleton and Prince William eye up move to Windsor this summer to be with Queen
Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to move to Windsor as early as this summer so they can be nearer to the Queen. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be checking out a variety of properties in the area including Prince Andrew's Royal Lodge, but reports indicate he won't budge on the property. Will and Kate, who split their time between their Norfolk and Kensington Palace residencies, are now said to be looking at private homes. The pair have ruled out Fort Belvedere, located on the edge of Windsor Great Park, which was once home to King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson.Insiders claim that the royal couple has also eyed up Frogmore House as a potential property as they already take their three children, George, eight, Charlotte, six, and Louis, three, there on weekends.Rumours of the couple taking up residency in Adelaide Cottage in the shadow of Windsor Castle are unlikely as there is already someone living there.Royal sources have also dismissed claims that the couple have apartments in Windsor Castle. The move comes amid fears that Prince Andrew is getting too close to the Queen, The Sun reports.
