Conor McGregor's coach has revealed the reason behind his remarkable body transformation ahead of his UFC return in 2022.McGregor has not featured in the championship since brutally breaking his leg during a defeat to Dustin Poirier last July.The Irishman has wasted no time in getting back to full fitness since his horrific injury though, after bulking up his physique ahead of an expected return later this year.McGregor has clearly been piling on the work in the gym during his time away from the octagon, revealing at one point he weighed 86kg, a huge 15kg more than what he came in at for his bout with Poirier.Following the transformation, his coach John Kavanagh has given the reason for the gain and insisted there is nothing to worry about.Kavanagh told news.com.au: “You know, Conor is a very hard trainer and he’s not going to go to the gym and mess around.”He added: “The only thing he could do is lift weights. So guess what?
