Nadine Shah, John Grant and Django Django will headline their 2022 event next summer.Taking place from July 29 – 31, the North Yorkshire festival will also include performances from Dry Cleaning, Yard Act, Snapped Ankles, Pip Blom, Du Blonde, Katy J Pearson, Porij, and CMAT.“While our two Base Camp events were both wonderful, there really is nothing like what we’ve come to know as ‘full-fat Deer Shed’,” co-founder Kate Webster said in a statement.

Grace Jones has announced a new concert at West Yorkshire’s Halifax Piece Hall, as part of the venue’s Live at the Piece Hall series in the Summer of 2024.The Jamaican musician and fashion icon will be performing at The Piece Hall’s massive, 66,000 square-foot courtyard on Saturday, June 22. Three tiers of tickets will be made available, namely General Admission, which simply allows entry into the courtyard, Balcony Tickets, which entitle holders to access to the venue’s balcony level and an exclusive bar, and Live at Lounge, which allows holders access into an exclusive VIP area.General ticket sales for the event will be made available via Ticketmaster on Friday, January 26 at 10AM, local time.

Bluedot Festival returns to Cheshire this week, spectacularly fusing music, science, arts and culture over four days.

Django Django have shared a new single titled ‘Don’t Touch That Dial’ alongside the release of the second part of their new album ‘Off Planet’.‘Off Planet’ is the band’s fifth album, and is set to be released in four parts – each representing a separate “planet”. Christine & The Queens has shared the first names booked for Meltdown Festival 2023, with Sigur Rós and Django Django confirmed to headline.The singer-songwriter and producer is the curator and headliner of this year’s event at London’s Southbank Centre, which runs from Friday, June 9 until Sunday, June 18.Warpaint, Let’s Eat Grandma, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Bat For Lashes, Serpentwithfeet, KOKOROKO, Yemi Alade, Oxlade, Moonchild Sanelly, Sqürl, Lynks, Johnny Jewel (of Chromatics fame), and Soap&Skin have also been announced in the first wave.Christine & The Queens (real name Héloïse Letissier) will close out the event with a second headline performance on June 18, following the previous night (June 17).Commenting on the first acts announced, he said: “Art to save the city! Mystery Jets and Graham Coxon have been announced on the line-up for a socially distanced benefit gig at London’s Jazz Cafe next month.All three acts will play at ‘Live For Beirut 2.0’ on December 11, which is set to raise money for the victims of the huge warehouse explosion which rocked the Lebanese capital in August, claiming the lives of over 200 people.Other acts on next month’s bill include the likes of Nadine Shah and Django Django, who will both play DJ sets, and performances from Rose Dougall and Bessie Turner.Tickets will go on sale here from 10AM tomorrow (November 19), starting at £40 per person.We’re excited to announce we’ll be performing at Live for Beirut 2.0 @thejazzcafe next month to raise money for the Lebanese Red Cross
