Following Naomi's death last year, McBryde joined The Judds and they toured together as part of Wynonna's The Judds: The Final Tour, which continued as planned as a tribute to Naomi.Wynonna and McBryde recently kicked off the 2023 leg of the tour, which will also include Brandi Carlile, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town and Tanya Tucker for select dates. Naomi and Wynonna brought down the house at last year's CMT Awards with an unforgettable performance, which also marked their triumphant TV return after more than 20 years.

Country music singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson leads this year’s roster of CMT Music Awards nominations with a total of four nominations, including Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year.

Wynonna Judd continues to move forward with grace, set to honor late mother Naomi Judd six months after her tragic suicide.The Ashland, Kentucky native, 58, was seen walking the red carpet of her concert The Judds: Love Is Alive - The Final Concert at the Murphy Center at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on Thursday, at the show in honor of Naomi, who died at 76 this past April 30 via suicide.The No One Else on Earth artist wore a lacy black ensemble with grey stitching and patterns. She rounded out her ensemble with gloves, with fringes from her arms, wearing her trademark wavy red locks down and flowing.

As part of her farewell to The Judds, Wynonna Judd announced plans to recreate the legendary country music duo's farewell concert that aired as a TV special back in 1991.The Judds: Love is Alive — The Final Concert will be recorded next Thursday, November 3, in the Murphy Center at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, the same arena of the original special, and then be broadcast on CMT in March, according to People.Current tour-mates Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, and tour opener Martina McBride will all stand in for her late mother Naomi Judd, who died by suicide on April 30, and perform with Wynonna, along with additional guests to be announced. Ashley McBryde just released her latest album "Lindeville" and accepted an invitation from country music star Garth Brooks to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry, where McBryde first performed in 2017.  McBryde was completely shocked by the invitation, as it was presented to her during her interview with CBS Mornings, where she thought she would be talking about her new music, but it ended up being more than that.  During the interview, Brooks virtually dropped in from the Grand Ole Opry to share the news with McBryde. Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Country singer Lainey Wilson’s very good year is getting just a little bit better, on top of her having the leading number of nominations for the CMA Awards and coming onto “Yellowstone” as a new cast member this season. CMT announced Wednesday that Wilson will be celebrated as Breakout Artist of the Year on the network’s “CMT Artists of the Year” special airing next week. “This past year has been a wild ride,” Wilson said in a statement. “To be considered for this award reinforces that the years of hard work my team and I have put in was all worth it. The team at CMT feels like family, and the way they genuinely support artists on their platform is so special and important for dreamers like me.”

Carrying on isn’t easy.

Wynonna Judd returned to stage for the first time as part of the 11-show stint with The Judds, a final tour which was initially scheduled as a series of reunion concerts including her mother and singing partner, Naomi Judd.  But weeks after the slate of programs was announced, Naomi died by suicide on April 30 at the age of 76. Wynonna enlisted the help of a few women in the industry to make sure the tour continued on as planned, only now more so to honor her mother for the trailblazing path she paved in the country community. "It’s devastatingly beautiful to go back to the past and relive some of these memories," Wynonna told the Associated Press said earlier this week after practicing on stage.
