People are still swimming in the Salford Quays today - despite the tragic death of a teenager less than 24 hours ago. On Sunday afternoon young men were pictured jumping into the water from a bridge just yards from where a 16-year-old boy drowned.
On a bench on the quayside flowers and balloons had been left in memory of the teenager who drowned while swimming with friends on Saturday evening.
A message on one balloon at the scene read 'RIP Kalen'. Earlier today police confirmed a body, believed to be that of a teenager last seen struggling in the water while swimming with friends, was recovered from the water.
