Patrice Evra has revealed how he was caught in the crossfire when Manchester United players started to question David Moyes during his time in charge.
Having been handed the unenviable task of replacing Sir Alex Ferguson at the Old Trafford helm, Moyes was issued his P45 just 10 months later.
Years on, Moyes continues to enjoy success in the Premier League with West Ham. However, during an ill-fated stint at United during the 2013/2014 season, the Scotsman came under pressure from several members of his first-team squad.
Evra - who later reunited with the manager in London - stuck up for Moyes and urged more from his team-mates in his role as a senior player.
