Paloma Faith might be expecting her second child but she is now questioning whether monogamy is natural after admitting her own relationship can sometimes be ‘unbearable’.The Lullaby singer endured IVF treatment to fall pregnant again with partner Leyman Lahcine but admits it’s not uncommon for a couple to hit the rocks after their firstborn arrives.‘Humanity has decided we’re meant to be with the same partner for life and actually it isn’t that easy or natural,’ said Paloma, who has a daughter aged three.‘The question is, is it forced upon us by societal expectation or is it truly in our nature?’ she added.And the songwriter said her new album Infinite Things — recorded during lockdown — is all about how to endure her long-term.
