Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves was left impressed with the progress made under Ralf Rangnick as he saw some early changes from the interim boss.
The German took charge of United for the first time since being appointed the club’s new interim boss as he took his place in the dugout against Crystal Palace.
Having watched on from the stands for Thursday’s win over Arsenal, Rangnick had just a couple of days to prepare for his first outing as United boss, which ended in victory thanks for Fred's late strike.
It was perhaps no surprise to see the 63-year-old stick with the same side that started the midweek victory over the Gunners, with Cristiano Ronaldo starting despite fears of an injury.
