Tyldesley will be fenced off 'urgently' after an incident including an off-road bike. Emergency services rushed to a park off York Avenue, in the Shakerley area, last Sunday (February 14) following reports that a teenager had fallen off his bike.

The boy was taken to hospital with 'serious' leg injuries and Wigan Council have moved to make sure that no similar incidents can occur in future.
