On Friday, Premier League clubs unanimously requested that players take a 30 per cent wage cut while football is cancelled. In what was described as 'intense' 45 minute video conference call on Saturday afternoon, players condemned the decision.
While the majority of the parties were opposed to the outcome which left those involved concerned about the motives of their employers, not everyone was allowed to say their piece, it seems.
