Ofcom urges Brits in lockdown to 'avoid using microwave to get faster internet’

With the coronavirus lockdown officially in place across the UK, most Brits are now working from home. While the government hopes that the tactic will slow the spread of the virus, it’s putting a huge strain on internet providers, as millions of Brits try to get online at the same time.

Now, Ofcom has launched a new campaign called Stay Connected, that aims to provide practical tips and advice to help people get the speeds and signal they need.
