Objections raised over proposed Rutherglen restaurant on former carwash site

A former car wash site could be turned into a takeaway restaurant under new plans. A proposal has been lodged with South Lanarkshire Council to convert the Rutherglen location into a new eatery, with nine car parking spaces.

Several objections from residents in the Burnside area have already been received by the local authority, with locals concerned that the Stonelaw Road site would have a negative impact on the area.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
