The Disney+ show had already confirmed that Ewan McGregor will return as the Jedi master alongside Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, both from the prequels.Taking to social media, Best answered the question posed to him by many fans recently by confirming that his character will not appear in the new show.“Thanks for the love, but I will not be in this series,” he wrote.

Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, and a slew of others will be joining Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen in the upcoming Disney+ series, Obi-Wan Kenobi.Disney+ announced the cast of their upcoming event series Monday on Twitter, where they also revealed production was set to begin 'soon'.Ewan and Hayden's involvement in the series was already previously announced,with McGregor returning as Jedi Master and Hayden playing Darth Vader.

NXIVM, has been cast in the Disney+ original series , starring Ewan McGregor as the Jedi Master. The Australian actress and singer-songwriter most recently appeared on TV in the HBO docuseries , which chronicled her escape from NXIVM and her attempts to get others out while exposing founder Keith Raniere’s personal development company as a pyramid scheme and cult.  Prior to being associated with NXIVM, Piesse was most famous for being part of the film franchise.

Star Wars‘ upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series has confirmed its full cast list, as well as a production start date.The Disney+ show has already confirmed that Ewan McGregor will return as the Jedi master alongside Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, both from the prequels.Disney has now confirmed a host of cast additions, including the previously-announced Indira Varma alongside Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr.

After numerous delays and tons of fan speculation, it appears that Lucasfilm is ready to begin production on the long-awaited “Star Wars” live-action series, “Obi-Wan Kenobi.” And with production scheduled to begin in April, the studio is ready to pull back the curtain and unveil the ensemble cast that will help bring the prequel series to life. Previously, we already knew that Ewan McGregor is going to return to play the title character, after portraying Obi-Wan in the three “Star Wars” prequel films.
