Not Dead Yet Tour: Janey Godley UK tour announced as comic set for back-to-back shows in Ayrshire

Janey Godley will play back-to-back shows in Ayrshire next year as part of a nationwide tour.The comic will play two nights at Kilmarnock's Grand Hall as she takes her Not Dead Yet tour across the country.The 61-year-old hits the road for the first time since she was given the all clear in her battle against cancer.Last Christmas, the comedian found out that she had ovarian cancer after experiencing some symptoms of bloating and frequent urination.

In January, she underwent a hysterectomy but was told she would need to undergo further treatment as her cancer had progressed to stage 3b.After undergoing chemotherapy, the comedian was told that she had the all clear, but has been determined to spread the word on looking out for the signs.Godley will play in Kilmarnock on February 8 and 9 in 2023.Godley said about the tour: "My past year has been like a giant 'Wordle' game that has swept the nation, I went from 'cancel to cancer' in 6 weeks. "No, I didn’t smack a man live at the Oscars, in front of millions of people, but I have apologised profusely for historic offensive tweets from over 11 years ago and ended up as the torn worn out pass the parcel for tribal politics in Scotland.
