The car brands that are most and least likely to pass their MOT tests have been revealed in new data. Chrysler vehicles are the most likely to fail with an average pass rate of only 73 percent, according to a report from Go Compare.
The brand was followed by Chevrolet, Daihatsu, Seat and Renault. On the other end of the scale, Ferraris had the highest MOT pass rate at 94 percent while Bentleys came in at a close second with 91 percent.
Some more affordable brands also made it into the top 10, such as Skoda and Suzuki, Birmingham Live reports. Ryan Fulthorpe, motoring expert at Go Compare, said: "The variation in pass rates across different manufacturers suggests that some vehicles are more primed to pass their MOT than others.
However, it's unlikely to be the only contributing factor."Although the yearly MOT may seem like a stressful and costly part of owning a car, it is vital to ensure that the vehicles on Britain's roads are safe.
