Nicole Kidman was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar this week for her role as the late Lucille Ball in Being the Ricardos. The 54-year-old on Wednesday said she feels both 'overwhelmed' and 'deeply appreciative' of the recognition from the Academy.
Nicole shared a series of pictures of herself on Instagram in character as Lucille alongside a lengthy post. The Hollywood star said she was eating breakfast with her family when she heard the news about her Oscar nomination. 'WOW!
I'm so overwhelmed. . . What a beautiful way to find out,' she wrote. 'This was the hardest role I've ever done and to be honoured this way is deeply appreciated. ''Lucille Ball is one of Hollywood's greatest icons.
