NICOLA Adams’ girlfriend has told of her love and pride for the Strictly star. The former Olympic champion retired from boxing a year ago today.

To mark the occasion, her partner, Ella Baig, shared an image of the 38-year-old during her heyday in the ring. Paying tribute to her girlfriend of two years, Ella said: “Ok, so you retired one year ago today.

Look how much you have done, look how much you have accomplished. You have done so much and you are still in the game. I love you and so proud of you and I will be watching you tonight.” Her message was liked hundreds of times by fans.

Ella’s comments come after she told the Sun she wanted to wanted to teach sex education at school. The Model and beauty blogger said there is not enough.
